Salomon Kalou shrugged off one of the biggest blunders in FA Cup final history after Chelsea clinched the FA Cup.
Not since Brighton's Gordon Smith failed to score from six yards in the 1983 final against Manchester United had Wembley witnessed such a calamitous miss.
Kalou was only six yards out with the goal at his mercy when he somehow conspired to smash Ashley Cole's cross against the crossbar.
Thankfully for Kalou, his Ivory Coast team-mate Didier Drogba hit the winner with a free-kick from 25 yards in the 58th minute.
"I was not worried at all when I hit the crossbar," Kalou said. "It was a cup final and in the final you can never predict the score.
"It was not like against Wigan where we scored eight goals, it was a different game with different tactics.
"As a team we worked hard and Didier Drogba did it at the end for us with a master free-kick, like he always does.
"It is a great moment for the football club and everyone at the club deserves to have the double.
"It was crazy in the dressing room, everyone was singing and dancing and it is good to make history for the club.
"It is something that we will keep forever in our minds and hopefully there is more to come."
